Spurs went on to win 4-1 after late goals from Dominic Solanke and James Maddison but had been forced once more into changes due to issues picked up during the game.

Without the Argentine, Tottenham eventually clicked into top gear.
Richarlison went off having laid on for Solanke in the second of those goals. He could be seen holding the back of his left hamstring immediately after squaring the ball, and went to the advertising board in order to get some support during the celebrations.
