So what is it like living out of the norm? This is what one named Gabby Gonzales is bringing awareness to.
The well-known influencer, who has over 1.2 million followers across TikTok and has previously been open about how being 6'1 has affected her life growing up, and now as a 22 year old woman on the scene.
When attending an art gallery, Gabby met fellow tall influencer, Olivia 'Liv' Johnson, who is an impressive 6'5 feet tall, which they quickly bonded over.
When meeting, Gabby decided to interview Liv to ask how her height has affected her life, and more specifically her love life, as she herself has previously expressed hardships in finding due to her height.
When asked if she cares about a potential date's height, Liv replied: "Yes, I do. But if you're like the best human being I've ever met in my entire life and you have your life together, like I will dip to like 6'3-ish."
"So you'll go like to inches shorter, Gabby confirmed, to which Liv agreed. Gabby then asked: "How is dating for you?"
"It's definitely different," Liv said. "Tall men obviously usually play sports, they usually have a little bit of an ego, which is totally okay. But at the same time, I'm just trying to get to know you. And so it can be challenging.
"I would say, the intimidation factor also. It becomes like, sometimes it feels like competition, and we're not trying to compete. We just want to be loved."
"We just want to love you," Gabby said, to which Liv added: "We wanna love and we wanna be loved."
"It's so hard," Gabby exclaimed, before moving on to the next question. "As a beautiful, tall girl - I can't stop saying that because you're gorgeous - how do you stay confident? Because you're very confident, and I used to slouch a lot when I was younger, and then there's a lot of young girls watching who struggle with being confident and tall.
"I would say, playing sports honestly helped a lot," Liv said. "I would say I have an amazing family and an amazing foundation of friends, like they literally, anywhere I go with them, I feel their love. They are always making comments supporting me, and that is honestly the best part about being a girl is having that network. And then also, seeing tall girls out, immediate friendship."
