Daniel Farke Red Bull Head of Soccer - previously of - will be wielding influence at Leeds United.
- including potential involvement with RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg, and New York Red Bulls - Farke remains unfazed regarding Leeds. The Yorkshire club, which has a minor investment link to Red Bull through its part-ownership from 49ers Enterprises and shirt sponsorship deal, isn't expected to fall under Klopp's control.
Leeds boss Farke asserted: "There are obviously a few Red Bull teams like in Leipzig, Salzburg, New York and so on. We are Leeds United and for that it is clear, he has a big impact on the Red Bull clubs and for us not that much.
"We are Leeds United and I think no one of our supporters would allow us to try and copy something or follow a similar philosophy. We are a pretty unique club and also have our own values, principles, philosophy, our own way that we want to play.
"As far as I know, this is exactly what the 49ers are standing for. They know how special this club is and they don't want to copy someone else and for that, we will always be Leeds United."
With solid form bolstering his approach, Farke's philosophy might just gain stronger roots if Leeds can extend its impressive run - having suffered only one defeat in its first nine matches. Leeds is poised to challenge an unbeaten Sheffield United in what promises to be a thrilling encounter this Friday night.
Speaking about his new job, Klopp said: "After almost 25 years on the sideline, I could not be more excited to get involved in a project like this. "The role may have changed but my passion for football and the people who make the game what it is has not.
"By joining Red Bull at a global level, I want to develop, improve and support the incredible football talent that we have at our disposal. There are many ways that we can do this front using the elite knowledge and experience that Red Bull possesses to learning from other sports and other industries.
"Together we can discover what is possible. I see my role primarily as a mentor for the coaches and management of the Red Bull clubs but ultimately, I am one part of an organisation that is unique, innovative and forward looking. As I said, this could not excite me more."
