Tottenham return to action on Saturday lunchtime as they play London rivals (12.30pm).

's team will be looking to bounce back from the 3-2 defeat at Brighton before the international break. It was a game they lost despite being 2-0 up at half-time.

But have a few injury issues to deal with ahead of their game against Julen Lopetegui's side. Below, football.london provide the latest on Spurs' injury situation ahead of Saturday's fixture at , which kicks-off another exciting Premier League weekend;

Son Heung-min

The Tottenham captain has missed the club's last three games with a hamstring injury that he suffered late on against Qarabag in the Europa League last month. The 32-year-old also missed out on South Korea's World Cup qualifying matches against Jordan and Iraq during this fortnight.

Postecoglou had suggested that was getting closer ahead of their Premier League game with Brighton, but ultimately was not able to play in that 3-2 defeat at the Amex Stadium.

On Sunday, Son posted an image of himself overlooking training pitches with the simple message: "Back soon", alongside lilywhite heart emoji.

football.london understands that Son is expected to be back in training at some point this week and all eyes will be on that hamstring and how it holds up during those pre-match sessions.

Potential return date: Tottenham vs West Ham on October 19

Richarlison

has been out since the second game of the season - the win against his old side Everton - in which he came off the substitutes bench for the final 25 minutes or so.

The Brazilian has been struggling with a calf injury over the past six weeks, having only returned to full training on the eve of the season following his previous injury woes. The 27-year-old has struggled to get a run of games since arriving at Tottenham for £60million from Everton in 2022 - due to various setbacks.

The striker was shown back on the grass working in the past week and it's also hoped that Richarlison will be back in training during the next week. The match against West Ham might come too soon for him, and Spurs take it very cautiously with him after previous setbacks.

Wilson Odobert

only arrived at Tottenham from Burnley for £30million just ahead of the Everton match Richarlison got injured in. The 19-year-old Frenchman made an impact in that first game, but he then suffered a hamstring injury early on in the Carabao Cup tie Championship side Coventry last month.

Odobert looked to be in a lot of pain, while Postecoglou instantly ruled him out until after October's international break. As with the other two, football.london believes the teenager could also be involved in training - this week - but as with all muscular injuries it's about how the player reacts to those early moments back on the grass and also with contact training, as that creates additional strain.

If all goes well, then Odobert could be back in contention for a spot on the bench - either against West Ham or in the Europa League game against AZ following up in midweek.

Potential return date: Tottenham vs West Ham on October 19.
