Applications for the bumper vacancy of special teacher in Bihar have started from today. Interested candidates can apply by visiting bpsc.bihar.gov.in.
BPSC Special Teacher Recruitment 2025: If you are dreaming of becoming a teacher then there is big news for you. Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 7279 special teachers to teach classes 1 to 8 in special schools of the state. The application process for this recruitment has started from July 1 and interested candidates can apply till July 28, 2025.
Under the recruitment, 5534 posts are for primary level and 1745 posts are for upper primary level. All the posts are under special education i.e. these teachers will be appointed for those children who need additional support in studies.
Talking about the qualification, 50% marks in 12th and D.El.Ed (Special Education) from an institute recognized by RCI is mandatory for the post of primary teacher. At the same time, 50% marks in graduation, B.Ed in Special Education, and valid CRR number of RCI are required for upper primary teacher. The age limit has been kept from 18 to 37 years, while women of OBC and General category will get 3 years relaxation, and SC/ST category will get 5 years relaxation.

The selection process will include online written test and document verification. The exam will evaluate general awareness and teaching skills along with subject knowledge.

Step 1: First of all, candidates go to the official website of BPSC bpsc.bihar.gov.in.
Step 2: After this, the candidates click on the “Apply Online” link on the homepage.
Step 3: Then the candidates should register and fill the form.
Step 4: Now the candidates should upload the required documents and pay the fee.
Step 5: Now the candidates should submit the form and take a printout of it.
