HYDERABAD: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has instructed the medical colleges to submit details of the students admitted in the first year of MBBS programmes for the 2024-25 academic year.

The colleges need to submit the details of all students admitted to the MBBS programme during the current academic year.
The NMC has launched an online monitoring system to ensure transparency and accountability in medical education. All medical colleges or institutions must submit their student’s admission details through a unique login id by November 8, said a notification issued by the NMC.
The NMC has made it clear that the colleges will not be allowed to enter the details of the students into “UG Admission Monitoring Module” Students Entry System for academic year 2024-25 after November 8, 2024.
Admissions to MBBS course for the academic year 2024-25 must be made following the provisions of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, and the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) based selection process notified by the Graduate Medical Education Regulation 2024, the notification said.

The NMC has asked the medical colleges to set parameters for admissions including sanctioned intake capacity, eligibility, age limit, qualifying marks and common counselling.
