What Elon Musk offered to hide Ashley St.Clair's baby news will shock you

Conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair has come forward with explosive claims about her relationship with Elon Musk—revealing he offered her a staggering $15 million and $100,000 per month to keep quiet about the birth of their son.
As per reports, their story began in spring 2023, when Musk first reached out to St. Clair through social media. At the time, she was working as an operations manager at the conservative satire site The Babylon Bee. This quickly escalated into an in-person meeting and then a relationship. She later became pregnant, and their son—named Romulus—was born in early February 2025.

What followed, she says, was an intense push for secrecy. As per Ashley, Musk, through a third party, offered her a deal: $15 million up front and $100,000 per month in exchange for silence until the child turned 21. She would not be allowed to speak negatively about Musk, though he would not face the same restriction. She refused to sign.

Musk reportedly justified his request by telling her he feared for his safety, claiming he was under threat of assassination due to his support of Donald Trump.
In the months following Romulus' birth, the situation deteriorated. In March, Musk claimed he'd already given St. Clair $2.5 million. But she contradicted his statements by telling the press that she had to sell her car to make ends meet.

Throughout her pregnancy, St. Clair said Musk was sometimes kind, sending flowers on her birthday and Mother’s Day. She even introduced her older son, from a previous relationship with New York chiropractor Johnny Alexander, to Musk’s children on playdates.

But as tensions rose, so did the stakes. Musk has only met Romulus three times, according to St. Clair. The first visit was in New York on September 21, 2024, for two hours. The next day, he stayed for one hour. The final visit happened on November 30 in Austin—for just 30 minutes. Since then, she says he has not asked to see Romulus or even checked in about his well-being.

In February 2025, St. Clair filed a paternity and custody lawsuit in New York, stating that Musk asked her to keep the child secret, then ghosted her during child support discussions. The court has since sealed the case, but docket entries suggest the judge is sympathetic to St. Clair’s position. Her attorney filed a motion on March 20 asking the judge to compel Musk to participate. The judge issued the order eight days later.

Musk, 53, still hasn’t publicly acknowledged Romulus as his son. On April 14, he posted cryptically on X: “I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed.” He confirmed he’s given St. Clair $2.5 million and is currently paying $500,000 per year.

St. Clair responded swiftly, accusing him of trying to control her and weaponizing financial support. “You’re really only punishing your son,” she wrote. She also called out the irony of Musk seeking a gag order in court while posting about her and the child on a platform he owns. In a scathing final message, she told the world: “America needs you to grow up, you petulant man-child.”
