Mumbai, July 18 (IANS) Punjabi pop sensation Dil Sandhu celebrated his birthday on Thursday, and to mark the occasion, he treated himself with a luxurious watch priced at a whopping ₹3 crore.
The '14 Kille' singer even shared a heartfelt birthday message for the fans, saying, “This isn’t about the price tag. It’s a reminder to value time, honor growth, and celebrate how far you’ve come.”
Sandhu further revealed that in the past, he had seen days when he had nothing except a pen and a dream.
Revealing the true purpose of buying the watch, he added, "This birthday, I didn’t buy a watch to show off. I bought it to remind myself that hard work pays off. You have to love yourself enough to keep going, but stay grounded enough to remember why you started.”
When asked about his life plans, Sandhu shared that he still has miles to go before he can even think about anything else. He added that at the moment, his work is his topmost priority and will continue to be so for the next couple of years, before he decides to shift his focus to anything else.
Asked about his relationship status, the rapper replied with a cliche answer.
“I am going to go the cliché way and say I’ll talk about it when I am ready. I am not the one to hide behind a veil of secrecy. So you’ll know soon!," he added.
Growing up in Delhi, Sandhu developed a strong appreciation for folk music during his early days. It is believed that he was deeply inspired by the famous Punjabi singer Chamkila. Even without any formal training, Sandhu has managed to make a place for himself in the hearts of music lovers.
Up next, Sandhu is believed to be gearing up for his Bollywood debut, along with some more international collaborations in his Kitty. However, an official announcement regarding the same is still awaited.
