You will not be able to cheat in old age pension in Delhi, pensioners will have to get this certificate

The Delhi government is going to change the old age pension rules. Now to get pension, proof of being alive will have to be given every year. Due to complaints of irregularities, there will be a door-to-door survey for old age widow and disabled pension. Ineligible people living in bungalows and expensive colonies will be excluded from pension. The government aims to ensure that only the needy get the benefits of the schemes made for the poor.

To get old age pension, people will now have to compulsorily submit life certificate every year. The Delhi government is going to implement this system. Due to complaints of irregularities among pensioners, there will soon be a door-to-door survey for old age pension, women, widow and disabled pension.

People living in bungalows and expensive colonies will be excluded from pension. The government is going to take a decision in the cabinet soon regarding this matter.

Such people are taking advantage of the facility

With the cooperation of the Government of India, the Delhi government issues pension to more than four lakh senior citizens every month. This pension is considered the basis of their livelihood. But the truth is that many people who are not entitled to this are taking advantage of this government facility.

It has been going on for years that people living in bungalows and expensive colonies are also taking advantage of this facility in large numbers. It was also investigated many times but still many people are taking advantage of this facility even today. Now questions are being raised on the investigations done in the past and also on those people who are taking advantage of the pension facility by usurping the rights of the poor.

Within three months of coming to power in Delhi, BJP has indicated strict action in this matter. The government's intention is clear that why are the rich taking the facilities made for the poor?

Verification of people receiving pension will be done

Under this, now there will be physical verification of people receiving pension in Delhi. So that it can be known whether those people are living at their given address or not. Along with this, such pensioners will also have to compulsorily give their life certificate i.e. proof of being alive.

Till now it was not made mandatory. Similarly, strictness will be maintained regarding the pension given to women, widows and disabled people. Physical verification has been made mandatory in all cases so that only the right and needy people can get pension.
