Viewers tuning into Saturday Kitchen over the weekend were quick to blast the "noisy" show as frustrating, taking to social media platforms to vent their displeasure.
Host Matt Tebbutt returned to present the popular weekend cookery programme, alongside a line-up of skilled chefs and television personalities.
On the episode aired on April 26, Matt was joined by culinary talents Elliott Grover and Seema Pankhania, soap legend Adam Woodyatt, Broadway stars and Billy Porter, with drinks aficionado Helen McGinn offering her expertise.

However, not long after the show kicked off, viewers did not hesitate to express their disappointment, feeling the guests were excessively loud for a morning show.
Fans flocked to X, previously known as , en masse to voice their complaints, reports .
Comments from disgruntled viewers included sharp criticisms such as: "Time to turn Saturday Kitchen off already." Another chimed in saying: "It's too much loudness for a Saturday morning."
Others shared their sentiments with remarks like: "Oh well, what can you expect, another noisy."
In contrast, a particular viewer expressed their readiness to switch to an alternative programme stating: "Read all these comments while catching up late. Less than 5 mins in have turned over to James Martin."
There was also this pointed addition from another disappointed fan: "I had to turn #SaturdayKitchen off. I can't do with all that shouting."
Yet, despite the slew of grievances, the guests had their share of admirers among the audience. One delighted viewer countered the negativity with: "I love Billy Porter. That is all."
One fan gushed on social media: "Loving Marisha Wallace and Billy Porter on #saturdaykitchen this morning. Their show at the Kit Kat club is phenomenally brilliant."
In a separate incident during today's show, host Matt had to say sorry to the audience after Billy Porter let a "naughty word" slip out. Discussing British food, the acclaimed actor recounted a past chat with a mate and uttered the word "sh**e".
Realising the mishap, Matt immediately intervened, saying: "Apologies if anyone heard a naughty word there. We apologise for that."
