A delivery driver has been left fighting for his life after being stabbed during a robbery, where someone tried to steal his bike in Liverpool.
Officers say a man in his 30s was attacked at around 2am on Sunday, May 4, on the junction of Grafton Street and Robertson Street in Dingle and was taken to hospital with a stab wound to his back. He is currently in a critical condition.

They are keen to speak to anyone who may have doorbell, CCTV or dashcam footage which may have caught what took place.
Eyewitnesses said there was blue tarpaulin at the scene and forensics were seen gathering evidence. Forensic and house-to-house enquiries are ongoing in the area, Merseyside Police added.
Detective Inspector Neil Dillon said: "We initially believe that this was a robbery in which the victim was targeted for his electric bike while he was working as a delivery driver.
"We will support the victim as the investigation continues.
"This incident has left the victim with a significant injury. We are keen to speak to anyone who saw, heard or captured this incident, either through CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage.
"Any piece of information could vital in finding those responsible so please come forward and we will take action.
"Knife crime causes devastation in our communities and we are committed to doing all we can to reduce the risks and pursue those who bring weapons onto the streets."
