One fan gushed: "Congratulations to you all! I hope mummy is well. Lots of love from all of us." A second added: "Congratulations, welcomed to the world precious little one." While a third typed: "Such a beautiful name, congratulations."
Amar, 39, appeared on the BBC programme between October 2019 and October 2020 before he was sent to prison by his mum, Suki. She had framed Jags for assaulting Martin Fowler, even though her other son, Vinny was responsible for the attack.
Enraged by Jags' relationship with Habiba, Suki took a pair of bloodied jeans owned by her son to the local police station and claimed he was wearing them on the day Martin was assaulted.

Jags was eventually carted off in the back of a police car and was imprisoned, leaving fans raging that Suki could betray her son in such a way. But shortly after his on-screen exit, it was confirmed that Jags had died in prison, leaving the Panesar family completely heartbroken.
Since leaving the soap, Amar has kept a relatively low profile and has only taken on two roles, including playing Jack 2 in Override, as well as a football supporter in The Devil Went Down To Islington. But he previously admitted that the coronavirus pandemic had slowed down his work.
Speaking previously to Digital Spy, Amar said: "I've held out on my newest film until I finished at EastEnders because it's difficult to promote it whilst filming at the same time and with the pandemic everything has been pushed back timings wise."
Reflecting on his exit from EastEnders, he commented: "I always knew I'd only be in the show for a set period of time when I signed up. I had just finished shooting a film and had prior commitments to promote that, but then the pandemic hit and everything understandably got put on hold."
Aside from EastEnders, he has also appeared in the likes of Doctors, Day of the Falcon, Four Hours, The Tower and the short film, UK Residents Only.
