Arguably the best film ever directed by Hollywood auteur James Cameron is currently streaming - and it’s certainly not Avatar.
The blockbuster filmmaker is gearing up for the release of the latest film in his ambitious science fiction franchise, Avatar: Fire and Ash.
One of the most highly-anticipated cinematic releases of this year, a new trailer for the third instalment is set to be released this week - but there’s a catch.
Fans will only be able to catch the trailer if they see Marvel’s latest heroic action film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, as it’s exclusively attached to the new superhero movie.
Avatar enthusiasts will no doubt be turning up in droves to catch a glimpse of Cameron’s next adventure in Pandora, though many would argue the interstellar saga is a step down from other entries in his filmography.

As he prepares to launch his latest vision on big screens around the globe, movie buffs will be pleased to know that one of his most beloved films, Titanic, is available to stream on Disney+.
Considered by many to be the director’s best film and one of the most successful and iconic blockbusters of all time, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet star in this tragic masterpiece about the devastating sinking of the ocean liner on her maiden voyage.
One five-star review on Google gushed: “Titanic, directed by James Cameron, is not just a movie—it’s an emotional journey that leaves a lasting impact.
“With its breathtaking cinematography, unforgettable performances, and deeply moving storyline, it remains one of the greatest films of all time.”
Someone else concurred: “The best movie of all time....!!!!! The best realistic, romantic and emotional story ever.
“We all know that it is truly a masterpiece created by none other than the Great James Cameron.
“It is heartbreaking and inspiring or rather encouraging at the same time. The performances of the actors are priceless…”
And a third made a bold claim: “This movie is hands down the best movie I have ever watched in my entire existence.”
Overwhelming praise continued over on Letterboxd, where one Titanic enthusiast declared it “an operatic spectacle, a romantic epic wrapped in James Cameron’s grandiose filmmaking.
“But above all, it’s a film that transcends the historical event itself to capture the heart of classic melodrama, where tragedy and love intertwine in an immortal narrative.”
And another dished out the superlatives: “Cinema's greatest Love Story. The Greatest Movie Ever Made. Which will probably never be topped in the history of Hollywood. It has everything cinema can offer.
“Based on a very real tragedy that it recreates tastefully and with excruciating details while still making us believe in a fairytale romance.
“Life and Love triumphing over Death in a way that only the movies can achieve so. Because yes, My Heart Will Always Go On and I'll never let go.”
If Titanic somehow isn’t your cup of tea - or you’re just not in the mood for a three-hour sobfest - a number Cameron’s other movies are available on Disney+, including the gory 80s classic, Aliens.
