James Morrison made a candid admission about his voice on James Martin's Saturday Morning show.
During the latest episode, chef James, 53, sat down with the singer, 41, to talk about his incredible career so far and unique singing voice.
However, chat got onto James' early years, where he was born premature and caught whooping cough.

Talking about his sisters, host James asked of the singer's older sister: "Is this the sister that, I mean, you were quite ill when you were quite young..."
To which the musician quipped: "Oh yeah, she nearly killed me, yeah, but also gave me a career in singing, so I can't really..."
The host asked: "You got whooping cough, did you?" to which the singer recalled and explained: "Yeah!
"She came into the hospital to visit me and I had whooping cough and then she passed it on to me and nearly killed me! But I'm grateful, it's made me grateful for life, to be fair."
James then pointed out: "That's what's given you this voice?" to which the musician confirmed: "Yeah, yeah, yeah!"
He added: "It's annoying to me but some people like it!" to which host James exclaimed: "Well, I think there's quite a few people that like it to be honest with you."
Also on the show, host James was joined by Aktar Islam, Shivi Ramoutar and Daniel Clifford in the kitchen, where the weather disrupted part of the show.
It's been a tough few months for James after his former partner, Gill Catchpole, with whom he shares two children, was found dead in January 2024.
The musician returned to his music and performed for the first time since the tragic death of his ex over the summer for In It Together Festival. James also performed at the end of James Martin's Saturday Morning.
Only recently, James brought his daughter Elsie on stage to sing Broken Strings with him while on tour.
In september, James embarked in his Fight Another Day tour across the UK.
James Martin's Saturday Morning continues on Saturday mornings at 9:30am on both ITV and ITV X.
