Katy Perry fans were in awe over her professionalism as the star kept calm when a butterfly prop she was on dropped mid-air during a recent concert. The California Girlssinger performed Roar at the Chase Centre when the prop seemingly dropped down as the crowd below gasped in concern for the singer.

The singer paused the song for several short moments to find her footing before resuming again. She even joked about the scary situation after the concert and shared a close-up picture of her panicked face when the prop fell. Katy added in the caption: "Goodnight San Fran."

Fans were in shock over the situation and rushed to social media to praise her calm reaction to the moment. One user said on X/Twitter: "The professionalism here is beyond insane, like that could've easily cost your life, but Katy didn't panic and she kept the show going...."

"The way she kept calm and kept singing- others would have freaked and said 'no no please stop' so glad Katy is safe but the safety team needs to step up," another user posted.

One concerned user commented: "Yeah, it’s time for these artists to get out the air…" Another questioned: "Why do all of these stars need these floating stages for their shows."

"Her astronaut training kicked in and was able to keep her calm and able to continue with the show. Mission accomplished," another joked.

The terrifying incident comes after and Orlando Bloom called it quits on their nine-year romance - six years after the Pirates of The Caribbean actor popped the question.

The representatives declared: "Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is - and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect."

Before the official announcement, an insider had informed the magazine of their amicable split, stating: "Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable. It's not contentious at the moment.

"Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life."

Days before the news was confirmed, Katy delivered an emotionally charged performance in Adelaide, Australia, on June 30. Katy broke down as she wrapped up her set, fighting back tears and creating a heart sign with her hands to express her affection for the crowd.

Grateful for their unwavering support, Katy told the audience: "Thank you for always being there for me, Australia. It means the world." After regaining her composure, Katy burst into her renowned hit 'Firework'.
