With Lorraine absent from her weekday show, Andi Peters had to jump in after to deal with an urgent health crisis, as she needed surgery for a ruptured appendix.

"It's purely preventative. It's going to be with keyhole surgery, which is incredible. I'm being very well looked after, and I'll obviously see you really soon, and I'm gonna be totally fine."
Currently, Lorraine is recuperating at her stunning Buckinghamshire home, where Steve Smith and their daughter Rosie.
Their luxurious £2 million abode is complete with a breathtaking lounge TV room, boasting high ceilings and charming wooden beams.
It's been seven years since Lorraine made the move from to the lush English countryside. The lounge is a highlight of the house with its lofty ceilings, elevated windows, and doors that lead out to the garden, bathing the room in natural light.
