Mercedes-Benz has announced the much-awaited Mercedes-AMG G 63 SUV in India, priced at Rs. 3.6 crore (ex-showroom). The powerful SUV features a handcrafted bi-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine with 48V mild hybrid technology, producing an impressive 430kW and 850Nm of torque, along with an additional 15kW boost.
The first batch of the new AMG G 63, comprising over 120 units, has already been booked, reflecting the high demand for this iconic model.
Performance-wise, the AMG G 63 is equipped with a nine-speed torque converter gearbox and AMG Performance 4MATIC as standard. It also includes the Race Start feature from the AMG performance package, enabling the SUV to reach a top speed of 240 km/h. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, and for the first time, Launch Control is available with the AMG G 63.
Buyers can choose from 29 exterior paint options and over 31 interior upholstery combinations. The SUV is also packed with advanced features such as a 12.3-inch driver’s display, an infotainment system powered by the latest MBUX NTG7 software, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, USB Type-C charging ports, an 18-speaker Burmester 3D surround sound system, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, and an augmented reality-based navigation system.
