BBC fans who watched Strictly Come Dancing were left divided over Tess Daly's latest outfit. Whilst some viewers praised her outfit of choice, some people commented why she choice that type of dress.

Tess stepped out in an off-the-shoulder black maxi dress, however some viewers couldn't help but compare it to a bin liner. One person said on X: "What is Tess wearing? Bin liner? Sorry. ."

A second person also similarly commented: "Assuming it's bin day round Tess' tomorrow morning as she's come dressed in the bin-bag."

A third typed: "Just remembered it's bin day tomorrow. Thanks Tess. ."

However, some others disagreed and thought Tess looked fabulous. One fan said: " Tess looks amazing!!" A second also chimed in: " Blimey Tess! That's quite a dress!"

In recent news, pro dancer Amy Dowden was given medical attention on Saturday night following her latest performance with JB Gill.

The Welsh dancer was forced to miss the results show after she fell ill backstage. It was later confirmed that an ambulance was called as a "precaution", but Amy said that she now feels "much better."

After making it through to Icons week, JB Gill spoke to Claudia Winkleman and said: "Honestly, I'm beside myself and Amy of course is gonna be so happy that we're through to icons week. It's an amazing feeling."

It was later revealed that Punam and Gorka were the latest couple to be eliminated. The TV medic faced Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu in the dance off, with all of the judges opting to save the former 'Coronation Street' actor.

After Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke all confirmed they were voting for Shayne and Nancy's Paso Doble over Punam and Gorka's Tango, head judge Shirley Ballas agreed she would have chosen in the same way.

But despite her departure, Punam insisted she was "really proud" of herself.

She said: "I am really proud of myself. You know I've taken on something that's so out of my comfort zone. The one thing that I've very much learnt is to say yes more, and that there is no point in your life when you can stop learning new skills."
