BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left in awe by Carlos Gu's performance during the professional dancer's routine on Sunday night. The results show featured a Beetlejuice-inspired routine led by Carlos, who was dressed in a black and white striped suit, green hair, and full Halloween makeup.
Fans took to social media to express their admiration for Carlos and his routine. One fan tweeted: "Carlos has won Hallowe'en #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing."
Another viewer agreed, saying: "Loved that routine brilliantly led by Carlos! ! #Strictly," while a third commented: "Nothing to see here. Just Carlos showing us why he should've been partnered up this year."
Another fan praised Carlos' performance as Beetlejuice, stating: "Carlos did a star turn as Beetlejuice. Amazing! #Strictly."
One viewer simply wrote, "Carlos slayed #strictly," while another declared, "Carlos has stole the show this weekend #strictly," .
Carlos also impressed viewers on Saturday night when he dressed up as host Claudia Winkleman for the Halloween Strictly special, even donning a wig identical to Claudia's iconic hairstyle.
One fan questioned: "Who's that other "Claudia"? #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly," while another exclaimed: "Carlos dressed as Claudia is amazing! #Strictly," and a third posted: "There are two Claudia's, I had to take two #strictly #StrictlyComeDancing."
This evening, two celebrities will face off for a spot in the competition. Following a tense dance-off, the judges will decide who stays and who goes.
The contestant with the fewest votes will be eliminated.
Last weekend, JB Gill and Paul Merson competed in the dance-off, but the judges chose to save the JLS star and his partner, Amy Dowden.
Amy was unexpectedly absent from the results show after falling ill backstage. This prompted BBC bosses to call 999 and rush her to the hospital. A spokesperson for Amy said: "Amy was feeling unwell, so an ambulance was called as a precaution.
"She is feeling much better and would like to thank the Strictly family for their love and concern. We request Amy's privacy in matters of health is kindly respected."
Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday on BBC One.
