Jannik Sinner has been crowned the Paris Masters champion, beating Felix Auger-Aliassime in Sunday's final 6-4 7-6(4). He becomes the first man to win a Masters 1000 title without dropping a set since Carlos Alcaraz at Indian Wells in 2023 - and he'll now return to No. 1 in the world.
Sinner overtakes his biggest rival, Alcaraz, in the rankings after the Spaniard was dumped out by Cameron Norrie in his opening match. There was also a lot on the line for Auger-Aliassime in Paris. He would have qualified for the ATP Finals had he won the title, but he still leaves as the eighth player in the race.
Novak Djokovic is not involved in the Paris Masters, having decided to skip the event for the second year in a row, but he has learned his fate in the draw of next week's ATP 250 in Athens.
And over in Riyadh, the WTA Finals are underway. Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina and Aryna Sabalenka all won their opening matches comfortably, while defending champion Coco Gauff lost a rollercoaster match to Jessica Pegula.
