New Delhi: The major Indian IT giant Infosys' shares have dropped by 4 per cent in early trade today. The decline in stock price is just a day after the IT giant reported slightly weaker-than-expected Q2 FY25 results. Infosys reported a net profit of Rs 6,506 crore in Q2 earnings.
Infosys Q2 Earnings: Revenue From OperationsThe company’s revenue from operations grew 4.2 per cent quarter-on-quarter to Rs 40,986 crore. The market experts were expecting forecasts of Rs 40,857 crore. Brokerage Firm PredictionFollowing the earnings miss, brokerage Morgan Stanley predicted a short-term correction in Infosys shares. However, it also advised investors to buy on dips, recommending building positions during any correction. Infosys Q2 Results Announcement: Revenue GuidanceDespite the slight miss in Q2 earnings, Infosys raised its revenue guidance for FY25 to 3.75-4.5 per cent in constant currency terms, up from the earlier forecast of 3-4 per cent.
