Model and rapper Asim Riaz, best known for his stint on Bigg Boss 13, is once again making headlines. According to a report by India Today, the Battleground judge has been ousted from the show after a fiery confrontation with fellow judges Rubina Dilain and Abhishek Malhan. The reports have shook the fans with them questioning if Asim will return to the show or not.
According to the reports, the altercation reportedly took place during the shoot on April 17. The fight escalated to such an extent that the production team had to step in and halt filming.“What seemed like a normal tiff slowly became a massive fight,” a source close to the production revealed. “Asim allegedly also insulted Rubina Dilaik, who tried to mediate and calm things down. But the situation spiralled, and all three eventually stormed off to their vanity vans, forcing the team to call off the shoot.”
Insiders say the argument between Asim and Abhishek intensified beyond repair, ultimately resulting in Asim being asked to leave the show. While there is speculation that talks are ongoing between his team and the producers to resolve the matter, no official statement has been released by Asim. Abhishek’s team, when contacted, claimed they were unaware of the full situation, while Rubina Dilaik simply said, “All is well.”
This isn’t the first time Asim’s temper has cost him a television opportunity. He was previously also evicted from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 after a verbal spat with host Rohit Shetty and other contestants. The fight began when Asim failed to complete a stunt and declared the task “impossible.” He even challenged the show’s credibility and refusing to accept payment for his appearance. In response, Rohit showed a rehearsal clip proving the stunt could be done—resulting in a heated exchange and Asim’s immediate dismissal from the show.
