Actress Sanchita Ugale started her career with television and went on to play roles in films like Chhaava and the web show Silence 2. The actress is currently seen in the TV show Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi playing the lead role of Sukoon.
While she enjoys doing TV, the actress wishes to be part of the big screen. She says, "I have a huge respect for TV, and this is a platform that is fair to all. It only demands talent and hard work; no shortcuts here. It has helped me learn acting and face the camera. While I will continue to do TV, doing films is my goal.
Sanchita adds, "I acted in Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava, in which I enjoyed playing the role of Tarabai. I have also acted in Silence 2 and Crime Aaj Kal. But soon I realised that being an outsider, it would be difficult for me to have a lead role in films. Meanwhile, I was getting lead offers for TV shows. I also have to manage my expenses in this city, like Mumbai. So as of now, I follow a basic rule of filtering good roles and taking up those."
The Kumkum Bhagya and Wagle Ki Duniya actress shares her experience of working in films, she continued, "Sharing screen with such good artists like Manoj Bajpayee, Vikrant Massey and Vicky Kaushal was like a dream come true for me. I learnt a lot from them, the way they were portraying their characters and acting in a given circumstance inspired me a lot to work more on my craft."
