After Jayson Tatum fell to the ground and looked to be in a lot of pain at the recent Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks ’ game, he had to go through surgery in less than 24 hours.

Recently, the star player posted a picture of himself from the hospital bed but fans are brutally mocking him. A fan commented, “So he not playing tonight? NBA soft as hell, stars take too many days off”.


Another fan wrote, “He hate losing so much he injured himself to escape that blame lol”, while a third fan commented, “Sure he is. He gets a full year salary for playing video games.”

Another user joked, “I personally performed the surgery using a butter knife and Flex Seal”, while a fifth fan noted, “He’s in good spirits because he’s getting paid 60 million a year”.


However, some fans have stood by the star player. A fan commented, “Glad to hear it went smooth. Prayers up for a full recovery, the league’s better when Tatum’s hoopin at full strength.”

Another fan wrote, “Hope your recovery goes well and you come back even stronger brotha. Hate to see that injury. Keep your head up and stay prayed up!!”

Boston Celtics’ Al Horford spoke about Jayson Tatum’s injury and said, "I mean, the loss is the loss. More importantly, you know, it's Jayson and that's what I'm worried about. And I'm just making sure I'm there for him. That's my priority ... It's very concerning…”

With Jayson Tatum being out for the remaining matches, many fans are stressed about the Boston Celtics’ playoff chances.
