With WrestleMania 41 within a few days, Drew McIntyre ’s recent expressions about WWE legends have caught viewers’ attention. The Scottish Warrior expressed his genuine opinion about the big shots of the industry, like The Rock and John Cena , and a possible reason behind their everlasting wrestling drive that makes them keep coming back for more despite the Hollywood royalty aspect in the picture.
Not only did McIntyre display his admiration, but also his utmost respect for the WWE icons for stepping back inside the ring regardless of their alternative successful ventures to form a legacy like no other.
Drew McIntyre breaks down John Cena and The Rock’s WWE personas
The recent guest appearance of The Scotsman on the podcast has got the people talking. McIntyre’s perspectives about the consistency of Cena and The Rock have indeed enticed the fans when he was asked about how he looks forward to his wrestling career when he enters his 40s and 50s.
Additionally, McIntyre stated his opinion on why Cena and The Rock return to the ring despite having extremely successful Hollywood careers. He stated, "Those guys [Rock and Cena] don't have to do it. Aside from the fact they made their name in wrestling and WWE at the top, top level, they're Hall of Famers, they've won everything there is to win, and giant household names. Then they transitioned over to Hollywood to show that wrestlers can do it all. Like, Rock's the biggest box office attraction in the world. Cena's absolutely killing it right now. There's no reason they have to come back and do what they're doing. They come back because they love it, because they're addicted to the crowd reaction, 'cause it's in their blood," said the WWE star.
He continued further, "It's so cool to see that even as successful as they are, legitimately, especially Rock's case, the biggest stars in the world, they still want to come back and feed that addiction, which is the adrenaline addiction, the crowd reaction that you get."

Well, there is no denying the fact that Cena and The Rock truly have wrestling legacies forged; however, we would also agree with the fact that the WWE stage where they began their journey is homely and magnetic to them, even with success beaming for them outside the ring. With WrestleMania 41 on the horizon, fans eagerly await seeing their favorites rocking the stage with wrestling magic.

John Cena and The Rock gave other their flowers after their match at WrestleMania 29. Cena reminded The Rock that he once asked him for a picture when he was just 20 years old and how Rock always encouraged and believed in him. Now, Cena has a chance to repay that faith. pic.twitter.com/BcynP49H7L
