GORAKHPUR: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday stated that investment in the state was a distant dream before 2017; however, in the present time, investment proposals are being received for every district, just like Gorakhpur.
He stressed that the "double engine" government is working with complete dedication and committment so that development works can be made available to the common people through roads, bridges, investments and institutions.
"Investment in Uttar Pradesh was a dream before 2017. Today, just like investment is happening in Gorakhpur, big proposals are coming for investment in other districts. The double engine BJP government is serving the people with full commitment and dedication so that development works can be made available to the common people through roads, bridges, investments and institutions," CM Yogi said.

"When the government works and respects public sentiments, then results also come. The same result is that today we have again brought results of Rs 2251 crore to GIDA and through this, we are taking forward the possibilities of employment along with development," he said.
Earlier, CM Yogi Adityanath laid the foundation stone for development projects worth Rs. 2,251 crore in the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) area. He also distributed allotment letters for plots under the GIDA residential and industrial schemes.
