PATNA: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Thursday blamed his JDU colleague and Union minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh - also known as Lalan Singh - for his party's brief exit in 2022 from BJP-led NDA . Nitish was sharing stage with Narendra Modi at an event in Madhubani and reassured the PM that JDU remained firmly aligned with NDA now. Singh, a former JDU national president, was also present at the programme.
Nitish reaffirmed his commitment to fighting RJD, led by ex-CMs Lalu Prasad and wife Rabri Devi. "We committed a mistake by joining hands with them. He (Singh) is sitting here. He was party president. Then he realised that they (RJD) were doing wrong things and we came back to NDA (in early 2024," Nitish said.
